RPUREORX - Reorganization for Payroll Results Cluster

Description

Report RPUREORX carries out logical checks for all national payroll result clusters, and depending on the parameters, sets the deletion flags on the database or deletes the records directly. The 'Update mode' parameter enables you to determine the procedure you require. You can set the parameter as follows:

• TEST:
  No changes are made to the database. The reorganization run is only simulated and provides information on the number of records to be reorganized.

• FLAG:
  Deletion flags are set on the database. These can be found in the field 'PCL2-HISTO' and used for evaluating or processing these records. Only flagged records are changed on the database and can be archived using sequential UNIX files. However, data is not sent to these files by a standard program.

• DELE:
  Infotype records to be reorganized are deleted when report RPUREORX is run.

The for-period and record type indicator determine the records to be reorganized. The record type indicator indicates whether the record is now out-of-date because of subsequent retroactive accounting runs and whether it is currently valid for this for-period. You can decide which record(s) should be stored on the database - only the current valid record, the current and previous record, or no record at all.

Please note the following:

• The cluster directory MUST be set up again for the selected personnel numbers after a reorganization run. Use report RPUDIRx0 and replace 'x' by the correct country grouping.

• You must adapt the "Accounted to" date in infotype 0003 "Payroll Status" as necessary.

• Authorization checks are not carried out for this report.
