Purpose
With this report you can test the determination of revenue as it has to be reported from Release 16 of the bonus procedure (ZUSY) using a BZ01 message to the German Central Pension Administration Office (Zentrale Zulagenstelle für Altersvermögen # ZfA).
In terms of revenue, a distinction is made between:
| Revenue type 41 Revenue under the terms of § 86 para. 1 clause 2 No. 2 and 3 EStG in the year before the contribution year |
| Revenue type 43 Revenue under the terms of § 86 para. 1 clause 2 No. 4 EStG in the year before the contribution year |
Revenue type 41 corresponds to the salary as it had to be reported before Release 16 in the #Message Data# module. Revenue type 43 encompasses the pension paid due to incapacity to work that has to be reported from contribution year 2008 onwards.
The revenue calculation is performed in the same way as the calculation of the message data in earlier ZUSY releases.
- The amount of the revenue of revenue type 41 is determined using the cumulation wage type SZFA from the paycheck inquiries of the year before the contribution year.
- If the indicator #SI-exemption from insurance liability# is set in the affected person's master data, the cumulation wage type SVFR is used instead of SZFA.
- The amount of the revenue of revenue type 43 is determined using the new cumulation wage type VERS from the paycheck inquiries of the year before the contribution year.
- Subsequent claims and recalculations are credited according to the inflow principle (in-period).
- Contributions from periods subject to SI contributions (for-periods) are ignored.
For more details on the changes resulting from ZUSY Release 16, please refer to Note 1251458. There you will also find information as to whether the ZfA has distributed new information on revenue calculation and whether further program modifications are necessary.

Only those persons are taken into consideration for whom the BZ01 messages must be created. In other words, where infotype 0745 is available.
Contribution year
Specifies the message year. Remember that the revenue of the previous year is calculated.
Detail log
If this field is checked, the detailed results are output as well.

Revenue overview
The calculated revenue in the year prior to the contribution year of the processed persons is displayed in the list.
Person-specific messages
Messages about errors and warnings that have occurred during the income calculation appear here. For example, if a negative revenue amount has been calculated, a warning is displayed.
Detailed results
This node is only output if the #Detailed Log# field is checked on the selection screen. It contains for each selected personnel number:
- An overview of the master data from infotype 0745 (ZfA Notifications)
- Under "Messages", the errors and warnings that occurred for this personnel number and additional information about the revenue calculation, such as which cumulation wage type was used for the calculation of the salary (revenue type 41) or the pension (revenue type 43)
- Under #Salary# and #Pension#, a list of the wage types and amounts which form the corresponding revenue amount
- Under #Amounts from Periods Subject to SI#, a list of the wage types and amounts that originate from periods subject to SI contributions and are therefore to be ignored in the revenue calculation
- Under "Pension Not Relevant for Bonus", a list of wage types and amounts from periods in which no pension exists due to incapacity to work and are therefore ignored when calculating revenues.
Supplement: Check of cumulation wage types
The calculation of revenues was changed with SAP Note 1526595. In future, wage types can be listed in the cumulation wage types for salary as well as in the cumulation wage type for pension. In this case, the following report issues a warning message under 'General Messages'.
