RP_HRSFEC_PTP_TIMEPAYCOMP_REPL - Report for Replication of Time Pay Component Data

Purpose

You use this report to replicate employee time pay component data from an Employee Central company to an Employee Central Payroll client for further payroll processing.

Note

From a technical point of view, data replication is based on a point-to-point connection.

For productive usage the report has to be scheduled as a batch job using transaction SM36.

Prerequisites

You must run report RP_HRSFEC_PTP_CONFIGURATION to set up the connection to the relevant Employee Central company.

The technical user assigned in the connection data must have authorizations to maintain objects of type Employee Data Replication Confirmation in Employee Central.

Features

Selection

• Replication Target System
  Data in the Employee Central company is assigned to a replication target system. Entering manually a target system is not required as it's done automatically. The default is the name of the logical system of the SAP client.

• Employments per package
  To achieve a better performance, the retrieved data from Employee Central is divided into packages and processed accordingly. You define the size of the processed employments per package. The default value for the package size is 100 employments per package. To avoid performance issues caused by too small or too large numbers of employments per package, you can specify a number between 100 and 2000 employments per package.

• User ID
  Defines for whom time pay component data is replicated. You don’t need to enter manually a user ID. Note that all user data is replicated if the field is empty.

• Display JSON on output screen
  This field enables you to output JSON data for further analysis and correction.

Standard Variants

Output

A standard application log is created for each report run. You can display it using transaction SLG1 with the following parameters:

• Technical information about communication with Employee Central including data selection process with parameters object HRSFEC and subobject EMPLOYEE_TIME_PTP

• Employment specific information on data replication with parameters object HRSFEC and subobject EMPLOYEE_TIME.

The report creates for every employment an Employee Data Replication Confirmation to inform Employee Central about the replication result. In Employee Central the replication results are displayed in the Data Replication Monitor user interface.
