RSARCH06 - Delete Program for EXAMPLE (Archiving Test Program)

Description

This is an example program for showing how the function modules are used to read available archives and delete archived data in the database.

The archiving deletion programs use the same function modules as the evaluation programs. The only difference is that the deletion programs also delete the archived data records in the database.

The following function modules are used:

• ARCHIVE_OPEN_FOR_DELETE

• ARCHIVE_GET_NEXT_OBJECT

• ARCHIVE_GET_NEXT_RECORD

• ARCHIVE_CLOSE_FILE

Requirements

This program is called automatically by the program RSARCH04, if the delete program Exec. automat. flag is set in the archiving object customizing.

Output

No data is actually deleted in this program but only a list output. You can therefore call this program without losing data.
