RSBTCDEL2 - Deletion of Jobs

Purpose

This report deletes background jobs based on predefined deletion criteria. The primary deletion criteria is the job status (FINISHED, CANCELLED, etc.) in connection with the age of the job and the job class. Additional restrictions such as job name and user name can also be defined.
With the parameter "test run" (DEFAULT = ON), the report can only select and list jobs based on the selection criteria; it cannot actually delete jobs. To delete jobs, “test run” must be deactivated.
Jobs are deleted client-wide.

Caution: Report RSBTCDEL2 does not delete application jobs. Application jobs are background jobs that were created with the Fiori app "Application Jobs" that was implemented with SAP S/4HANA. These application jobs are deleted with report RSBTCDELAPJ.

Standard Variants

The system variant SAP&001 deletes all background jobs with status FINISHED or CANCELLED and older than 14 days.

Output

The report creates a list with selected and, if applicable, deleted background jobs.
