Purpose

As a result of the new component hierarchy as of Basis Release 6.20, new component types have been introduced for the CVERS tables.

In customer systems, this new component hierarchy is introduced with an upgrade or an installation. In the SAP development landscape, however, such an adjustment does not take place since upgrades are not performed in this landscape. Instead, the XPRA RSCREATE_HIERARCHY adjusts the CVERS table to the new component hierarchy during import. Since this XPRA is not delivered to the customer, it is in a development class that belongs to the software component HOME. The XPRA is therefore not critical for customer upgrades.
