RSEFS_LDAP_USERGROUP_UPDATE - Enterprise File Search: Update Usergroup Cache
TXBHW - Original Tax Base Amount in Local Currency Addresses (Business Address Services)This documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
Purpose
You can use this report to update the user group cache for Enterprise File Search.
Integration
See the main documentation for report RSEFS_LDAP_USER_UPDATE.
Prerequisites
Features
This report updates the user group cache table SEFS_LDAP_GROUP from the configured LDAP server.
In contrast to report RSEFS_LDAP_USER_UPDATE, this report cannot perform an initial load. Cache entries are created on demand for each user group that is directly assigned to a user.
One cache entry contains all security IDs that result from the complete recursive resolution of a given group.
When you use transaction SE16 to check the cache table SEFS_LDAP_GROUP, you may notice that some groups have an empty list of security IDs. These groups cannot be used in access control lists. Nevertheless they must be included in the cache to guarantee optimum performance.
Selection
You can select a single user group or specify a filter string.
Standard Variants
If you leave the select option empty, all user groups that are already in the cache are updated.
Output
You will receive statistics containing the number of updated buffer entries.
Activities
To achieve maximum search performance in Enterprise File Search, you should run this report every night in batch mode before running report RSEFS_LDAP_USER_UPDATE.
