Description

The report saves industry-specific changes
of application component assignments to IMG activities in the table
TFM18, at an upgrade. It is cross-client, and can be used for all
industry solutions.

The report must:
1. before an upgrade, export all industry-specific changes
into the database table INDX or a local file
,
2. after an upgrade, import the saved data from the
database table INDX or local file
.

Save industry-specific changes before an upgrade:

To save the industry-specific changes, you must choose
"Export into Database Table INDX" and/or
"Export into local File", before the upgrade. (Example path: C:\TEMP\SICHER.TXT)
This saves all application component assignments of an IMG activity.
(= module) in the specified storage medium in which
industry-specific changes are made. An
industry-specific change is indicated by an *I* in the application
component.

Write industry-specific changes back, after an upgrade:

When writing the saved modules back after an upgrade,
you must specify the storage medium from the import.
The standard modules are then compared with the import modules
and if they do not match, differences are listed
. The user can decide
which standard modules to replace with import modules
or enhance. The overwritten
standard modules can be saved locally.

Note: Industry restrictions
Import SELECT-OPTIONS

'Industry Component' field is empty, all saved
import modules are written back.
