Purpose

The Central User Administration log (transaction SCUL) is based on table USZBVSYS.

If system assignments are removed from a user or if a user is deleted entirely, old log entries for his or her role and profile assignments are retained.

In the hierarchy display, transaction SCUL ignores these entries, but a large number of users and child systems can lead to the table growing unnecessarily large.

Integration

The correction report is integrated in the log display of transaction SCUL using a new button, 'Reorganize CUA Log (SHIFT + F2)'.

Prerequisites

The report can only be used in a central system of Central User Administration (CUA). In all other cases, it is not executable.

Features

The report can only delete old log entries for role and profile assignments (USZBVSYS-USRSECTION='ACTGRP' and 'PROFILE') for a child system for which there is an equivalent deletion entry (USZBVSYS-STATUS='D') for the system assignment (USZBVSYS-USRSECTION='USER').

Intermediate states when deleting a user (for example, USZBVSYS-USRSECTION='USER' and USZBVSYS-STATUS='A' or 'X') are also interpreted as "System assignment for user was deleted". Because confirmation of the role/profile deletion from the child system creates new entries with USZBVSYS-USRSECTION='ACTGRP' or 'PROFILE', you should not start cleanup as long as entries with status 'Distribution unconfirmed' are displayed in transaction SCUL.

Old deletion entries for the users themselves (USZBVSYS-STATUS='D' and USZBVSYS-USRSECTION='USER') are never deleted.

Entries with errors, for example, between entries in tables USZBVSYS and USR02 in the CUA central system itself are also recognized and are deleted as well.

There is no correction of data inconsistencies between:

  1. Table USZBVSYS and the local USR02 tables in individual child systems
  2. The child systems recorded in the individual entries of USZBVSYS and the current CUA landscape

Proceed as follows:

  1. Use transaction SCUG to perform a complete transfer of the users from the child systems before you start the correction report.
  2. Use selection option 'Invalid content in CUA tables' in report RSDELCUA to delete these obsolete log entries.

Selection

  • 'Test Mode':

    'X'(Default Setting)
In accordance with the additional selection option 'Time Period', the report looks for old, superfluous log entries and displays them in an ALV list.

    ' '
The data records found are deleted from the database and are then displayed in an ALV list.
  • 'Time Period':
The system only searches for superfluous log entries are only in the specified period of time.

Standard Variants

None

Output

All superfluous log entries selected in accordance with the selection criteria are displayed in full, as they are stored in table USZBVSYS.

Sorting and grouping is by user name and by child system.
