Description

This report converts report-specific selections in variants to dynamic selections. Conversion is possible only if the logical database for the relevant report selections supports dynamic selections.

Requirements

The logical database must support dynamic selections. You can find out which selections are supported in the INCLUDE DB$$$SEL.

Example: Logical database KDF

INCLUDE: DBKDFSEL
Selection screen dynamic selections for table: .....

Before starting RSVARDYN, delete the report-specific selections to be converted from the report and regenerate the report.

Output

The report generates a list containing the following variants:

  • Variants that were converted
  • Variants that could not be converted because locks were set
  • Variants that could not be converted due to errors
