RSWF_PUSH_NOTIFICATION_EXECUTE - Send Fiori Push Notifications to notification hub

Purpose

This report implements the central workflow system job SAP_WORKFLOW_PUSH_NOTIFICATION. The system job SAP_WORKFLOW_PUSH_NOTIFICATION runs in each client. He is responsible to send Fiori Push Notifications to recipients of work items.

Integration

The job is started if the batch event SAP_BWF_PUSH_NOTIFICATIONS is raised. The workflow system job SAP_WORKFLOW_SYSTEM which runs time based with a recurrence of one minute is responsible to raise the batch event. The system job SAP_WORKFLOW_SYSTEM raises the event if at least one work item was created since the last run which has Fiori Push Notification enabled.

Prerequisites

• The job repository is configured and active

• One new workitem available which has Fiori Push Notification enabled.
