RSWWCOND - Evaluating Pre-/Post-Conditions on Work Items

Purpose

This report implements the workflow system job SAP_WORKFLOW_RULE. The system job SAP_WORKFLOW_RULE runs in each client. He evaluates configured Pre-/Postconditions for work items.

Integration

The job is started if the batch event SAP_BWF_WIM_CONDITION is raised. The workflow system job SAP_WORKFLOW_SYSTEM which runs time based with a recurrence of one minute is responsible to raise the batch event. The system job SAP_WORKFLOW_SYSTEM check the workflow database every 30 minutes. If there is at least one work item instance available which has a pre-/postcondition the event SAP_BWF_WIM_CONDITION is raised.

Prerequisites

• The job repository is configured and active

• There is at least one work item instance which has a pre-/postcondition

Features

The job will evaluate the pre-/postcondition for all work items and execute the related action

• If post-condition is true the work item will be completed and the workflow is continued.

• If pre-condition is true the work item will set to status 'READY'. If the work item is a system task the execution will started automatically. If the work item is a dialog work item this item will be visible in the inbox of the recipients.

Selection

The whole workflow database is checked in the current client.

Standard Variants

Report has no variants.

Output

Application log is used. Please use transaction SLG1 with object '/WF/JOBS' and subobject 'EVALUATE_CONDITIONS'.
