Purpose

Release 710 and higher of software component SAP_BASIS includes a new universal parameter for specifying an RFC destination in the configuration of the Integration Engine. Consequently, the parameters RFC_DEST_EO_PROT_TRANSFER und RFC_DEST_QUEUE_COUPLING, both from the RUNTIME category, are deleted from the table SXMSCONFVL, which contains the configuration data for the Integration Engine. These are replaced by the new parameter RFC_DESTINATION_TRANSFER. The parameter belongs to the new category TRANSFER. If necessary, the parameters MAX_MESSAGE_TRANSFER_SIZE and MAX_NO_TRANSFER_QUEUES are also copied from the RUNTIME category to the TRANSFER category. Furthermore, the RFCADAPTER category is deleted, if necessary. This report is responsible for the conversions described.

Upgrade from SAP_BASIS 6.40 to SAP_BASIS 7.10 or from SAP_BASIS 7.0 to SAP_BASIS 7.10.
