Purpose

This program checks consistency of GRAPH WORKSPACE definition w.r.t. uniqueness of key column values, occurrence of NULL values and occurrence of "dangling edges". Such inconsistencies will result in runtime errors when such a GRAPH WORKSPACE is used by an application.

Restrictions

This prototype is built to be used via SAPGUI only.

Integration

Prerequisites

The AMDP framework is currently only available on HANA databases.

Features

For a given set of class names, all AMDP GRAPH WORKSPACE definitions are checked, and error messages for all detected inconsistencies are collected and displayed.

It is possible to do the consistency check for all clients available in the current system. In this case no example values are shown for the inconsistencies.

Selection

  • Class Names: restricts consistency check to the given class names
  • Create Database Objects: recompile ABAP class if not already up-to-date?
  • Display Values: Display some example values for duplicate values or dangling references? This option requires display authorization on the underlying CDS views.
  • Check in all Clients: Perform the check in all clients available in the current system?

Standard Variants

Output

For each checked GRAPH WORKSPACE, either a success message of a set of error messages is displayed.
