Purpose

Checks correctness of TDControl and ORBITT configuration

Selection

Check configuration:

Reginfo: If Gateway parameter gw/acl_mode has been set to "1" and as of Basis release 8.00, the report checks whether the required entries for TDControl and TAMO are present in the reginfo file.

Existence check for TDControl files:

Checks whether the version of TDControl as specified in the translation system is available on the Translation Portal.

Connection prerequisites:

Collects the informatio needed to start TDControl, starts TDControl, and checks whether a connection to the RFC server can be made.

Connection test:

Standard connection (RFC connection): Attempts to connect to the registered RFC server.

TCP/IP connnection: Checks whether the SM59 destination required for a TCP/IP connection (fallback solution) exists or can be created.

File upload:

Writes a file to a temporary directory and reads it again. This function is required when TDControl is started. Errors here frequently occur due to a faulty virus scanner definition.
