RTST_RP_CLEANUP_STATUS_TABLES - Cleanup of status tables used by 'Receive Products' Fiori App

Purpose

This report is used to delete the status of documents that have not been processed since a definable number of days. The data that will be deleted are is not subject to archiving. The documents themselves (purchase orders, deliveries, handling units, and material documents) are not deleted with this report.

Integration

You should run this report as a batch on a weekly basis.

Prerequisites

You use the Fiori app Receive Products.

Features

This report is used to delete the status of documents that have not been processed since a definable number of days. The status table entries for these documents will be deleted. The status tables contain, for example, information about which quantities have been entered for a document in the app. For handling units, they also contain information about which quantities have been posted, and which material documents have been created in this context. If status entries of handling units that have already been posted will be deleted, they cannot be processed via the app anymore. This is because the app recognizes whether material documents that are assigned to the corresponding purchase order item are no longer contained in the status tables. In this case, the system cannot determine the correct posted quantity of a handling unit, and as a consequence does not allow you to process the handling unit with the app.

You should delete status table entries only for documents that you have finished processing with the app.

Selection

The system will search for documents that have status table entries that have not been processed with the Fiori app Receive Products since the given number of days.

Use the flag simulate to see how many document status will be deleted.

Output

Database entries are deleted (this can be seen from the report output).

Activities

Example

You processed a handling unit with the Fiori app Receive Products three weeks ago. If you enter 14 Days and execute the report the status table entries of this handling unit will be deleted. Status table entries of documents that you processed within the last 14 days will not been removed.
