RV15CC22 - Copying : Material Group to Material Group

Description

This program is used for the function 'Copying of Conditions'. This means that the listed data can be selected in order to create new condition records.

The selection screen contains information on the conditions that are to be copied. This information can be found under the 'Characteristics of Source Conditions'. The condition table and condition type of the condition record copied are always shown. In addition, a data field (e.g. material group) defined in Customizing for the copying of conditions is displayed. The field defines the source condition(s) that is/are to be copied. The 'Selection of Target' is the target field. A specific value can be selected or a complete list of values can be offered. All new values for the new condition records are copied from this list. If 'Display List' is not selected, the system takes all values found from the program selections.

With the 'Characteristics of New Conditions' you can define data within each condition record. For example, you can change the condition type if necessary. With PF4 on condition type 'Target', you get a pop-up with the allowed condition types. You can define the validity start and/or the validity end date, or neither. This is then adopted for all new condition records.

A condition sort term is also available. This field can be used as a search term at header level. This means that all condition records that are newly created will contain this term. An advantage is that as of 2.2 a secondary index referencing this field can be created. This enables all condition records that are created to be found again easily.
