RVHURL019 - Archiving transmissions: Create archive file

Description
You use this report to archive transmissions (table TRNSM) of message type ACCSTA (RP account statement transmission) The report writes the data to an archive file. The user can choose to simultaneously archive the corresponding IDoc data of the same message type.
Process flow of archiving: The transmissions are read in packets of 100 records. These volumes are checked for usage in account statements (table RLACSTHD). Transmissions with usage are removed from archiving - this is shown in the processing log. Transmission (and, where appropriate, IDoc) data is outputted to an archive file.
This process is repeated for the next data packet, and so on.
Requirements
A transmission cannot be archived if it is still being used in an account statement.
Output
Transmissions that were selected for archiving are outputted to an archive file. The report RVHURL021 (archiving of transmissions: delete application data) uses this file to delete the data from the tables. A processing log gives details on the amount and volumes of the archived transmissions. A more detailed log is also available, listing successfully archived transmissions and reasons for which any transmissions could not be archived.

The system outputs IDoc data to the archive file using the function modules in the archiving class IDOC. Only complete totals of archived IDoc data are shown in the processing log.
