RVHURL021 - Archiving transmissions: Delete application data

Description

This report deletes transmissions with message type ACCSTA (RP account statement transmission) from the table TRNSM(transmissions), and (if required) IDoc data of the same message type. If the report is executed with the "test run" variant, no application data is deleted: the process is simulative.

Prerequisites

One or more archive files must have been created using the report RVHURL019 (archiving of transmissions: create archive file). The system uses these archive files to delete application data from the tables.

Output

A processing log gives details on the amount and volumes of the deleted transmissions. A more detailed log is also available, listing the successfully deleted transmissions.

Once the application data has been deleted, it is available via the archive file for evaluation using the SAP Archive Information System.

The IDoc data is deleted using function modules of archiving class IDOC. The amount of archived data records of this class cannot currently be entered.
