Use

You can use this report to display document changes that are made to a sales document.

Features

Selection

To execute the report, enter the document number of the sales document for which you want to view the changes.
If you access this from the menu for a sales document, the current document number is already preselected.

You can further restrict the selection here by entering the item number and the schedule line number.

Alternatively, you have the option of making the selection using table names. A multiple selection is possible here.
You can further restrict the selection using the field names that are created for document changes. Note here that the field names in the selection help only refer to the first table specified. However, you can enter field names from other tables manually in the multiple selection.

When displaying change documents, the display variant selected allows you to choose between sorting by change time and by change document item. You can choose whether the dependent deletions are also displayed here.

Standard Variants

SAP supplies sorting of change documents by item number without displaying the dependent deletions as a standard variant here.

However, you can create your own display variants here. A display variant saves the column selection, filter and sort sequences. From the display, choose the following in the menu Goto > Variants > Save as Variant…. Assign a name to your new variant and save your changes. You can define your own variant as a standard variant. If you do so, it is proposed automatically the next time the report is run.

Output

The report displays an overview list of all document changes made in the SAP List Viewer (ALV) with the following information:

  • Type of document change made
  • Document Item
  • Schedule line number
  • Action
  • Old and new value
  • Changed by
  • Change time
  • Transaction code used to make the changes
  • Change time
  • Table key and field name

The type of document change made (change, new entry and deletion of data) is also indicated by the color in which the corresponding change document items are highlighted.

You can display the user details of the system user who made the respective change to the document by clicking on the user name in the column User.

All available functions for working with the list displayed are part of the standard SAP List Viewer functions.
