RWB2_XPRA_S4MIG_KONDIND - XPRA for S4 table migration (KONDIND to KONH)

Purpose

You use this XPRA to migrate the data from database table KONDIND to database table KONH.

First the report migrates the content of field KONDIND-OBJNR for KONDIND-OBTYP = '10' (Trading Contract) to field KONH-TKONN. Then the report migrates the content of field KONDIND-OBJNR for KONDIND-OBTYP = '20' (Condition Contract) to field KONH-CCNUM. For KONDIND-OBTYP = '20' (Condition Contract) the content of field KONDIND-EXTERNAL_GUID is transferred to KONH-EXTERNAL_GUID and the content of field KONDIND-REFERENCE is transferred to KONH-REFERENCE..

Missing entries in table KONH are created with rudimentary data if field KNUMH in table KONDIND contains a value. The main entries in table KONDIND are deleted. An entry is called a main entry if the field KNUMH does not contain a value.

After the migration into table KONH is complete for the selected package, the corresponding entries in table KONDIND are deleted

First the report creates two temporary database views to improve the performance of database access to table KONH. If errors occur that deal with the creation or activation of the database views, the problems have to be analyzed and solved before restarting the report.

Remember to restart the report after solving these errors, otherwise the data migration is not complete. If the deletion of a database view fails, the data migration is not effected, since the database views are only the vehicle used to migrate and the program attempts to delete it after migration has been completed. Restarting the report in this case only updates the status of the deletion step in the progress log.

If the report is restarted only open steps are processed. Steps that have been processed successfully in a previous report run are not reprocessed.
