Purpose

This report enables you to configure the explicit filter criteria that are applied when you use transaction WESOUT to process outbound message data for an application.

Integration

Prerequisites

You have defined the required application and assigned appropriate filter objects with explicit filters to it. All service implementations that take the corresponding filter objects into account automatically use the filters you configured for the application, unless you deactivated specific filters for a service implementation in the application configuration.

You require the correct authorization to execute transaction WESOUT.

In addition, the system performs an authorization check on the filter levels Application and Filter Object and Application, Filter Object and Service Implementation. This depends on the level on which you want to configure the filters. This check is controlled via the authorization check W_ES_ADM.

Features

You can store the filters on the following two levels:

  • Application and Filter Object
  • Application, Filter Object and Service Implementation

If you define the filters on the Filter Object level, the stored selection options apply for all service implementations that you assigned to the application and that take the corresponding filter object into account. However, you have the option of overriding these settings for a service implementation by defining the filters on the Service Implementation level. For this reason, the field Service Implementation is not mandatory. You can make multiple selections for the Filter Object field. This enables you to define multiple filters simultaneously.

The selection option fields are copied from the structure that is stored for each explicit filter.
