General Data in Customer Master   Addresses (Business Address Services)

SAP E-Book

Purpose

The report enables you to use enterprise services in order to create one or multiple outbound messages for a receiving application. You can create the outbound messages directly or in the background.

Integration

The system takes into account the implicit filters and implicit checks that you defined and activated in Customizing, as well as the explicit filters that you defined in transaction WESF. If required, you can override the explicit filters during manual requests.

Prerequisites

You have defined the required application and assigned appropriate service implementations to it. In addition, when using processing mode Manual Request, you must first activate explicit filters for the service implementation.

You require authorization to execute the transaction. The system also performs an authorization check for the fields Application and Service Implementation. This check determines whether you are authorized to change a message. This check is controlled via the authorization check W_ES_ADM.

Features

You can use this report in the following processing modes:

  • Initialization
The system processes all data of the selected service implementations that are required for an application.
  • Changes
The report analyzes all data that was changed since the last change run, or since the last initialization was carried out.
  • Manual request
You can select and transfer individual data records via the Free Selection pushbutton. The checkbox enables you to specify whether you want to override or ignore the configured filter criteria from transaction WESF. The system copies the selection option fields from the structure that is stored in Customizing.
Select the appropriate checkbox if you have to create a delete request for a specific data record of an application. Both checkboxes are available only if you have the required authorization.

To increase the performance during mass data processing, you have the option of running processes via a logon/server group.

Selection

Multiple selection is possible in field Service Implementation. This enables different outbound messages to be processed together.

Standard Variants

Output

The report creates the corresponding XML outbound message for the local Integration Engine. You can monitor the connection status of the Integration Engine via transaction SXMB_MONI. An application log informs you about the data processing status. You can subsequently call up this application log via transaction WESLOG.
