Purpose

Use this program to create materials in the SAP system database from planned materials created in the Operational Assortment Planning and Control transaction.

Integration

You release a planned material in the OAPC transaction. This sets a release flag in the record ('marked for release'). If you release a planned generic material, you also automatically release all corresponding variants.

Prerequisites

If you want to release a planned prepack, you first have to release the corresponding planned generic material.

Features

Selection

You can select planned materials to be released by entering their material numbers or the purchasing lists to which they are assigned.

You can narrow the purchasing list selection by:

  • Purchasing List ID (multiple selection possible)
  • Hierarchy
  • Hierarchy Node
  • Season
  • Season Year
  • Rollout (multiple selection possible)
  • Assortment Type (multiple selection possible)

If you call the program without entering any selection criteria, you can release all planned materials that have the release flag set in their master data records.

Standard Variants

Output

The program generates an application log that is saved to database. If you run the program in the background, the system does not display this application log during processing, but you can access it in the database after the job is finished.

To see the log, use transaction SLG1 (Analyze Application Log) and enter the following selection criteria:

  • Object = WRF_APC
  • Subobject = PARELEASE

Activities

Call transaction WRFAPC11 to start the program. You can run the program either manually or as a scheduled background job (for example, have the report run automatically every evening).
