Purpose
You can use this report to create a search index for chemicals. Environment, Health, and Safetyprovides an index for the search function for chemicals. The index is updated automatically when a new chemical is created or when an existing chemical is modified.
Under special conditions, like after a conversion from releases 2.0 or 3.0 for the component extension for SAP EHS Management to Environment, Health, and Safety, it could be necessary to rebuild this index. Therefore, the conversion report R_EHFND_MIGRATE_CHM automatically calls this report if any chemical has been converted.

Features
This report rebuilds the search index for chemicals based on the following chemical identification information:
- CAS Number
- EINECS Number
- IUPAC Name
- Name of the Chemical
- Internal Names
- Synonyms
- Trade Name
- Article Number
- Reach Registration Number
- Reach Registration Name
- Material ID
Selection
You can select the following option if you run the report in interactive mode:
- Run in Test Mode: If you select this checkbox, you can execute the whole processing in simulation mode without changing any data in the system. The report creates a list with messages to give an overview about warnings or errors occurred during processing.
Standard Variants
Output
The reports logs how many chemical entries have been created and displays a list in the output area of the program.
