Purpose

This XPRA is carried out automatically for all clients after an upgrade or a conversion to SAP S/4HANA 1709.

This report changes the structure of the regulatory lists of a compliance requirement business object (BO) for environment management. It also converts texts in the following former language-independent attributes to language-dependent attributes:

  • Name of Compliance Requirement (REQ_NAME_TXT)
  • Issuing Organization (ISSUING_ORG_TXT)
  • Regulation List Name (REG_LIST_NAME_TXT)
  • Regulation List Official Name (REG_LIST_OFFICIAL_NAME_TXT)

In addition, this XPRA transfers the lists for occupational exposure limits (OELs) from the regulatory list BO EHFND_REGLIST to the compliance requirement BO EHFND_COMPL_REQUIREMENT.

Integration

Prerequisites

Features

Selection

If you run the report in interactive mode, you can select the following option:

  • Language: You can choose the language key of the language into which the language-independent texts are converted.
If the report is started automatically, the system uses English (EN) as language key for the converted texts.

Standard Variants

Output

The report carries out the following steps:

  1. Moving the regulatory lists node one level up in the node hierarchy.
Within the prior version, the regulatory lists had to be organized as part of the structure nodes. As of SAP S/4HANA 1709, the regulatory lists for environment management are still maintained on the level of structure nodes. However, for the other components, the regulatory lists are now directly assigned to the root node.
  1. Changing the regulatory list types.
The prior versions contained a regulatory list type STANDARD (DEFAULT_LIST). As of SAP S/4HANA 1709, the regulatory list type STANDARD is replaced by the specific regulatory list types High Heating Value, Low Heating Value, and Carbon Content. This report converts the available DEFAULT_LIST types to the new regulatory list types and moves the regulatory list types field to table EHFNDC_RLTYPE.
  1. Converting language-independent texts to language-dependent texts.
In the prior versions, data for the name of a compliance requirement, the issuing organization, the name of the regulatory list, and the official name of the regulatory list were language-independent. As of SAP S/4HANA 1709, the texts in these attributes are language-dependent.
To support the translation of this data, this report transfers the attributes into a structure that supports the language-dependency.
To support the translation of this information, this report migrates the attributes into a structure which supports them as language-dependent attributes.
  1. Transferring OELs from the regulatory list BO to the compliance requirement BO.
In prior versions, OELs have been created in regulatory lists for OELs. As of SAP S/4HANA 1709, the regulatory lists for OELs for Health and Safety, are part of the compliance requirement.
This report determines all regulatory lists for OELs specified in the Customizing activity Specify Regulatory Lists for OELs. For any regulatory list revision of this regulatory list, a new compliance requirement is created that contains a regulatory list with the migrated OEL values.

Activities

This report is automatically executed after an upgrade or conversion to SAP S/4HANA 1709. The report can be restarted if it terminates due to technical issues.
