R_EHFND_SYNCEAM_LOCATION - Program EHFNDR_LOC_SYNCEAM

Purpose

You use this report to synchronize the master data for the locations that are linked to objects in the Plant Maintenance (PM) component. This ensures that the location data is up-to-date, for example, in search screens, analytical reports, and so on. If you do not use the report, you can open a location's master data to synchronize that location's data with PM.

Integration

Prerequisites

• You are authorized to read data from the PMsystem and to update locations.

• You have enabled PMintegration in the Customizing activity Enable/Disable PM Integration for Locations.

• You have linked locations to PMtechnical objects.

Features

While using the report, the following selection criteria are available.

Selection

• Functional Location
  Technical PM locations that already have been linked to EH&S locations.

• Equipment
  Equipments that already have been linked to EH&S objects.

• Checkbox: Logging
  Integration of EH&S location with PM technical objects.
  If the logging is active, the messages will be written onto the log and stored for seven days.

If the fields Functional Locationand Equipmentare empty, all available objects will be read.

You can schedule this report as a background job by using the Customizing activity Schedule Jobs for Location Synchronization.
