R_EHHSS_INC_ARCH_PRE - Archiving Incidents - Preprocessing Program

Purpose

You use this report within the archiving process for incidents.

This report determines the archivable incidents (archiving object EHHSS_INC) according to the following end-of-business conditions:

• All processes for getting more information using inquiries or for requesting work using actions and notifications have been completed for the incident.

• The status of the incident is set to Closed or Void.

• The retention period of the incident has expired.

Incidents that fulfill the end-of-business conditions are archived.

Integration

You execute this report before you execute the reports Archiving Incidents - Write Program (R_EHHSS_INC_ ARCH_WRI) and Archiving Incidents - Delete Program (EHHSS_INC_ARCH_DEL).

Selection

Under Incidents, you can specify the incidents that you want to archive.

If you do not specify an incident status, the system selects all incidents with the status Closed or Void. You can further narrow the selection by specifying one of these statuses.

Selecting another status, such as New or In Progress, has no effect and produces the same result as not selecting a status.

Standard Variants

Output

After being processed, the report changes the status of the archivable incidents to Archiving in Progress.

Activities

You can use Archive Administration (Transaction SARA) to access this report. To do so, enter the archiving object EHHSS_INC and choose the preprocessing action.
