Purpose

You can use this report to reprocess workforce which have not been processed in an earlier replication due to errors such as incomplete or incorrect data. With this report, a personnel number or a list of personnel numbers can be reprocessed and sent to the SAP Master Data Integration service.

Integration

Prerequisites

  • The switch H4S4_SFWS_SC_01must be active.
  • When processing contingent workers, the switch /SHCM/SFWS_SC_EE_BP_01must be active.
  • In the Manage Distribution Model app of SAP Master Data Orchestration, you need to create an active replication model in push mode with the business object type "workforce person".

The report uses the background Remote Function Call (bgRFC) concept for parallelization. Therefore, adapt the report's configuration to your requirements to ensure a successful parallelization. To do this, follow the steps on SAP Help Portal under SAP NetWeaver 7.5 -> Use -> SAP NetWeaver Library: Function-Oriented View -> Application Server -> Application Server Infrastructure -> Functions and Tools of SAP NetWeaver Application Server -> Connectivity -> Components of SAP Communication Technology -> Classic SAP Technologies (ABAP) -> RFC -> Background Communication and then refer to Queued Remote Function Call (qRFC)and bgRFC (Background Remote Function Call), in particular bgRFC Configuration.

If you want to make system default-specific changes that require authorization, follow the steps on SAP Help Portal under SAP NetWeaver 7.5 -> Use -> SAP NetWeaver Library: Function-Oriented View -> Application Server -> Application Server Infrastructure -> Functions and Tools of SAP NetWeaver Application Server -> Connectivity -> Components of SAP Communication Technology -> Classis SAP Technologies (ABAP) -> RFC -> Background Communication -> bgRFC (Background Remote Function Call) -> bgRFC Administration -> bgRFC Authorization.

Features

The list of personnel numbers fetched from the selection screen is batched depending on the outbound parameter TASK_SIZE_PROCMSGand is processed parallelly if the server details are provided in table HRWFD_D_PARLZN.

Selection

The report provides the selection criteria from the logical database PNP for which the replication process for particular personnel numbers will be initiated. For every personnel number you have entered, workforce data will be replicated to SAP Master Data Integration service.

Activities

When the report has been processed successfully, a navigation is provided to monitor handling using transaction HRWFD_H4S4_AIF_MNTR. There, you can display messages regarding the replication of personnel numbers to SAP Master Data Integration service.
