Purpose

The APIs in this function group are obsolete. Instead of these, use the BAPIs (BUS1088 Characteristic, function group CTBP) or the actual methods of class CL_CHR_MAIN. Although BAPIs have a different interface to APIs, the interfaces for APIs and for class CL_CHR_MAIN are largely identical. The methods and attributes are documented.
