Purpose

The link module MEDICATION is used to integrate order data from Smart Medication in a parameterized document (PMD).

Integration

If the system uses the business add-an (BAdI) ISHMED_ME_DRUG_SUBSTin the Medicationcomponent, it also uses it in the link module MEDICATION.

Prerequisites

In order to use this link module in a parameterized document, you must add a documentation element of the Link Element and enter the MEDICATION module on the corresponding Link Moduletab page in the application Change PMD Document Category.

Features

The following functions are available with the MEDICATION link module:

  • Transfer Therapy Recommendation

The system fills the medication table in the link module with the orders that were marked as therapy recommendation in Smart Medication.
  • Find Alternatives

For orders which you have transferred from Smart Medication into the parameterized document as therapy recommendations, you can find alternative generic drugs.

The alternative search for generic drugs only applies for the sample document and cannot influence the patient's orders in the system.
  • Change Order in Document

You can change order details of the document, such as name, dosage and remarks.
  • Add Entry

You can add entries. You cannot search for alternative generic drugs for manually added entries, as these entries are not assigned to a patent's orders in the system.
  • Remove Entry

You can delete selected lines from the order table.

Example

The sample discharge summary N1SMPL_DLdemonstrates the use of the link module MEDICATION.
