SAPLRTC_RAISE_PR - Raise Data Submit Request or Lock/Unlock Period

Purpose

You use this report to raise data submit requests (from the local accountant to the group accountant) when the data is ready.

You can also use this report to view the period lock status and data submit request history list for the specified selection criteria.

The group accountant can also use this program to lock or unlock periods. If a period is locked, the local accountant can’t raise data submit requests until the group accountant unlocks it.

Integration

You can access the period lock/unlock screens of this report from the Real-Time Consolidation Mass Period Lock/Unlock program (transaction RTCMPL) by double-clicking on a line item in the results list.

Prerequisites

You have defined the required Real-Time Consolidation model in Customizing for Financial Accounting (New) under Real-Time Consolidation -> Consolidation Model Definition -> Create Real-Time Consolidation Model.

Features

Selection

You must specify a valid model, consolidation version, fiscal period, and entity.

You can raise a data submit request for the specified fiscal period by choosing Raise.

You can also view the period lock status and data submit request history list for the specified model, consolidation version, fiscal year and entity by choosing List Data Submit Requests.

Standard Variants

You also use this program to lock or unlock periods (transaction RTCPL).

Output

When a new data submit request is raised, a new row is created in table RTC_PULL_REQ.

When you lock or unlock a fiscal period, the program inserts or updates the data for this fiscal period together with the model, version, and entity in table RTC_PR_LOCK.

Activities

To access the Raise Data Submit Request screen of this report on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Accounting -> Real-Time Consolidation -> Periodic Processing -> Raise Data Submit Request (transaction RTCDSR).

To access the Period Lock/Unlock screen of this report on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Accounting -> Real-Time Consolidation -> Periodic Processing -> Lock Period for Single Entity (transaction RTCDSR).
