Title

The remote interface for processing Folders, Info-objects and their Attr ibutes.

Purpose

The function group SI17 comprises a number of function modules for use by applications that wish to create, edit and display Knowledge Warehouse content.

Prerequisites

Features

The function modules encapsulate KW core functions and provide standardized error handling so they can be:

• creating/deleting info objects,

• editing info object content,

• editing info object attributes,

• finding and displaying info objects,

• linking info objects to application objects,

(information about these links can be stored in the general application link table IWREFERENC or in application tables)

As KW info objects are assigned to folders there are additional function modules for dealing with folders:

• creating deleting folders,

• maintaining folder attributes,

• and finding folders.
