SAPLSVRL - Version Management: Display Various Lists

Description

This function group displays different lists of versions on the screen. The most important list is the version directory for a versionable object. You can go to this from object maintenance transactions by choosing Utilities -> Version management.

This function group has the external interfaces SVRS_DISPLAY_DIRECTORY_NEW and SVRS_DISPLAY_DIRECTORY. Both of these display the version directory of a versionable object. The second function lets you specify callback reports for displaying, comparing and retrieving versions. The first function does not require this information. Instead, it takes this information from the object definition tables. In the future, it will be preferable to use SVRS_DISPLAY_DIRECTORY_NEW.
