SAPLV56F - Functions when Setting Status in Header

In this functional group, there are functional modules which are exe- cuted with the setting of a status in the shipment header.

At this point, an overview of the functional modules in this functional group is displayed. Detailed information, if desired, is available for each individual functional module.

Setting a status in the shipment header

If a status is set in the shipment header, these changes are processed by the functional module SD_SHIPMENT_HEADER_CHANGE (functional group V56H).

Depending on which status is set, SD_SHIPMENT_HEADER_CHANGE branches into different functional modules which execute the actions behind a given status:

• SD_SHIPMENT_STATUS_PLANNED_____ Status 'Planned'

• SD_SHIPMENT_STATUS_REGISTRATED_ Status 'Regisered'

• SD_SHIPMENT_STATUS_LOAD_START__ Status 'Begin loading'

• SD_SHIPMENT_STATUS_LOAD_END____ Status 'End loading'

• SD_SHIPMENT_STATUS_COMPLETION__ Status 'Complete'

• SD_SHIPMENT_STATUS_SHIPM_START_ Status 'Start shipment'

• SD_SHIPMENT_STATUS_SHIPM_END___ Status 'End shipment'

For example, the following actions are triggered by setting the status 'Planned':

• Data is copied into the shipment from the deliveries (currently, only carrier and route, so long as specified in shipment type customizing). This is executed in the functional module SD_SHIPMENT_COPY_DELIVERY_DATA.

• Execution of the so-called leg determination. See SD_SHIPMENT_LEG_DETERMINATION in functional group V56S.

• If necessary, the execution of activities defined in an activity profile allocated to this status (see next section)

Handling of activity profiles

In customizing, one can define for each shipment type that, with the setting of a status in the shipment header, certain activities are to be executed. Possible activities are, for example, posting goods issue or invoicing deliveries of the shipment.

In this functional group, there are functional modules which hang together with these activity profiles:

• SD_SHIPMENT_CREATE_INVOICE Invoice for a shipment

• SD_SHIPMENT_EXECUTE_FUNCTIONS1 Execute activities before saving

• SD_SHIPMENT_EXECUTE_FUNCTIONS2 Execute activities after saving

• SD_SHIPMENT_MAINTAIN_POPUP Field selection for popup quick entry

• SD_SHIPMENT_POST_GOODS_ISSUE Post goods issue for a shipment

• SD_SHIPMENT_PRF_ACTIVITY_READ Read activity profile for shipment
