Title

Purpose

The function modules for this group are used for structured materials in logistics flows. Some modules are used for handling logistics variants.

Prerequisites

Features

The following functions exist:

• Structured materials can be exploded into their components at goods receipt and in purchase orders. You can use the following module to do this:

range_structured_article_get.
The following modules are related:

• bapi_material_getcomponents (calls struc_art_det_comp)

• struc_article_splitting (calls structured_article_split)

• You can use the following modules to check if structured materials are to be exploded into their components:

• struct_article_key_determined

• struc_art_key_todo.

You can use modules twzla_read and twzla_write to read the relevant Customizing settings for table TWZLA. You can make your settings in Customizing using structured material in the logistics flow.

• Quantities for the corresponding header material can defined based on quantities at component level: struc_art_calculate_value. This module then calls the struc_art_calculate_mean_value module.

• You can find the relevant header material for a component using the struc_art_find_head_to_comp module.

• You can use the following module to define the corresponding material number for the key for items in bills of material:

struc_art_select_bom.
