SAUNIT_CLIENT_SETUP - Customization of ABAP Unit

ABAP Unit is a test framework for developing and executing unit tests. These are special code sections within programs, which execute a kind of self-test.

This test execution is helpful for finding problems in Customizing or in the source code, but can also have unwanted side effects. Therefore, unit tests are not permitted within production clients in customer systems.

For all other clients, ABAP Unit allows you to restrict the executability of individual unit tests.

Furthermore, you can also define default values for a range of runtime parameters.

The default value for the risk level only allows the execution of safe unit tests.

Authorization TLCK for system administration (S_ADMI_FCD) is required for maintenance.
