SCTS_HTA_HDI_OBJECT_DEPLOY_UI - HTA for HDI (Deployment)

You can use SAP HANA Transport for ABAP for SAP HANA Deployment Infrastructure (HTA for HDI) to develop HDI objects and transport them with the associated ABAP objects using the Change and Transport System (CTS) in ABAP. HDI objects are native SAP HANA objects created in the SAP HANA database using HDI and used in ABAP-for-SAP HANA applications.

SAP HANA objects are generally deployed automatically after a transport request has been imported into the system. If this is not the case, you can activate the SAP HANA objects in the target system at a later time. This missing deployment may be due to errors in other objects or incorrect settings in SAP HANA.

Procedure

1. As a selection criterion, select the name of a logical HDI container and/or a HDI namespace from the input help (F4).
   When you select a HDI namespace, the associated HDI container is entered in the correct field automatically. If you use the same namespace name in multiple HDI containers and want to display them at the same time, remove the HDI container names entered in the field and choose Enter.
   Note: You can also enter the names manually.
   Alternatively, you can specify the ABAP transport object name of a HDI namespace as a selection criterion. You can find this name in Transport Organizer (transaction SE09) in the object list of the transport request under Full Package (SAP HANA Transport for ABAP) or Single Object (SAP HANA Transport for ABAP).
2. Choose Execute.

Result

The next screen displays all HDI namespaces that match the selection criteria in HTA Repository in HDI containers with their objects.

On this screen, you can deploy SAP HANA objects in the target system.
