SGT_RULES_CONSISTENCY_CHECK_C2 - Consistency Check Report for Segmentation Rules

Purpose

You use this report when you migrate from SAP ERP EHP 07 or SAP ERP EHP 08 to SAP S/4HANA 1709. The report checks for the inconsistencies in the Customizing settings for segmentation.

SAP S/4HANA 1709 supports only 1:1 and N:1 rules mapping. The wildcard # is also not supported.

This reports list the entries that are inconsistent with the new behavior related to the segmentation rule in SAP S/4HANA 1709. These entries must be corrected before the migration takes place.

The report checks for the following inconsistencies in the Customizing for Define Segmentation Strategies under Logistics - General > Segmentation > Segmentation Strategies:

• Use the character # for segmentation strategy in MRP and PIR nodes.

• Incorrect 1:1 or N:1 scenarios

• BLANK value for requirement and stock segment in segmentation strategy in MRP node.
