SIT_TECH_JOB_BATCH_DAILY - Technical Job for Daily Batch

Purpose

The SIT_TECH_JOB_BATCH_DAILY technical job is relevant for customers using the situation handling framework in SAP S/4HANA Cloud and SAP S/4HANA.

You use this batch job once a day to trigger the situation handling engine for each situation type. The technical job identifies situations for your productive situation types based on the settings and generates situation instances and notifications.

Integration

The technical job is a daily batch job in the situation handling framework. You can display a list of all batch jobs that have been scheduled in your SAP S/4HANA system with transaction code SJOBREPO.

Prerequisites

The standard template, from which the enabled ready-to-use situation type is copied, has to be of the batch type, and the job scheduling time for the ready-to-use situation type has to be maintained in the Manage Situation Types app on the Batch Job Schedulingtab.

Features

The technical job triggers the situation handling engine once a day for each situation type:

Based on the Batch Job Schedulingtime that is maintained in the Manage Situation Types app, the engine evaluates the corresponding situation types. For valid conditions, the engine generates new situation instances, updates existing instances, and sends notifications.
