Purpose

Report SM_DOCUMENT_BUPA_CHECK

Report to find all documents assigned to a Bupa and to improve if all solutions and projects assigned to those documents have the same Bupa.

Integration

Prerequisites

Entry Screen

Before you can start the report you have to choose your business partner.

The chosen business partner can be changed by pushing the button Change Customer.

Restrictions

The Bupas SAP and PUBLIC are not valid entries and will be denied by the report.

Features

Report Processing

The report searches for all documents which are assigned to the chosen BUPA. It also searches for additional solutions or projects which are assigned to those documents. A further check finds out if there are Bupas in those solutions and projects which differ from the one which was chosen before.

Output

Documents with unique Bupa

The documents which are only assigned to projects and solutions with the same Bupa get the status green. There is no further action needed.

Documents with several possible Bupas

If a document is assigned to projects and solutions with a different Bupa the status is shown as red. In this case the Bupa can be changed in the list to another value and the assignment of the Bupa can be changed by pressing the ‘Assign BP Numbers’ button. After processing the status will change to yellow to show which data has been changed. In addition you have to check the assignment of a document to projects and solutions. After fixing possible assignment issues you can run the report again.

Check the assignments of a document

To find out which assignments a document has, the user has to select a line in the list and then to push the ‘Where Used’ button of the function toolbar. This opens a popup with the where used list for this document.

From here he can proceed further action to change assignments between the document and other objects.
