SOLMAN_COPY_AIUSERS - Create AISUSER Entries from Template User

Purpose

To reduce the maintenance effort for transaction AISUSER we support to copy a template user. Therefore the Service Provider customers only have to provide a single generic S-User for SAP Solution Manager activities to the Service Provider, a Service Provider user so to speak. The Service Provider's administrator then assigns all his customers' S-users in AISUSER to a specific template user. Then he can copy this set of entries from the template user to the Service Provider's employees' users.

Instead of creating such a template user manually it is also possible to generate it automated by flagging "Generate template user". In this case the program generates AISUSER entries for a user with the name in field "Template user to copy from" that has an aggregation of all assignments that can be found in AISUSER for any SAP Solution Manager user. This makes sense only when the table has been prefilled with individual S-user assignments either manually or by report SOLMAN_CREATE_AIUSER_ENTRIES.

Selection

Copy from AISUSER:

The template user can be selected from the value help. This is the user where the AISUSER entries are copied from.

Copy to AISUSER:

Specify the user IDs of the target users here. Those users will get the same assignments as the template user has.

The value help can be used to select the copy-to user. Use the button "Multiple Selection" to select multiple target users at a time.

Skip the target user

If this option is chosen, no entries are added into AISUSER to a target user that already has entries.

Add only new S-user entries

If this option is chosen, only new S-User entries are added to a target user that already has entries.

Overwrite S-user entries

If this option is chosen, existing entries of a user are deleted and new entries are added to a target user.

Standard Variants

Output

For every entry of the 'Copy from AISUSER' in the AISUSER table, an entry is created for the 'Copy to AISUSER'
