SPCPC_DIST_PRG_TO_TSG - PAL: Distribute Printer Group to Target System Groups

Purpose

You use this program to schedule PAL Printer Group distribution in background via a batch job. This enables a periodical automated distribution to one or more Target System Groups.

Integration

Prerequisites

Only users with Printer Administration and PAL application knowledge should execute this program.

Features

For Distribution Targets, you can choose between Favorite Targets and Target System Groups. You can maintain Favorite Targets only in PAL (Select a Printer Group -> Tabstrip Favorite Targets).

Activities

1. In transaction SA38, call program SPCPC_DIST_PRG_TO_TSG
2. In the Distribution Source screen area, enter one Printer Group
3. In the Distribution Targets screen area, enter:

• Favorite Targets or

• One or more Target System Group(s)

1. Save the selection as a variant
2. If you want to create more variants, repeat steps 2, 3 and 4
3. Go back to initial screen of transaction SA38
4. Select Program -> Execute -> Background
5. Choose a variant and schedule the job
