Purpose

In statutory reporting, reporting tasks are generated based on the reporting entity settings made in the Customizing Setting Up Your Statutory Reporting. However, in some cases, you may want to delete reporting tasks such as when inconsistent tasks get generated, or when you want to change the reporting entity settings for reporting tasks that already have runs generated.

In such scenarios, you can use the Statutory Reporting Task Cleanerto delete the unwanted reporting tasks from the Run Statutory Reportsapp.

Prerequisites

Features

The program is used to delete unwanted reporting tasks from the Run Statutory Reports app for specific reporting entity, reporting category, and reporting period. The reporting tasks along with any generated legal documents, correspondence documents, manual attachments are also removed from the Run Statutory Reports app.

Selection

On the report selection screen, enter data as required:

  • Select the reporting entity, reporting category, and the reporting period for which you want to delete the reporting tasks. Note, that you can only see the reporting entities for which tasks have been generated in the Run Statutory Reportsapp.
  • Under Processing Optionsselect:
  • Test Mode: To simulate and see the list of reporting tasks to be deleted. If you do not want to delete all the reporting tasks, you can go back and change the selection parameters.

  • Production Mode: To delete the reporting tasks for the selected reporting entity, report category, and reporting period.

  • Select 'Delete Accepted Tasks', if you want the program to delete the reporting tasks with status 'Completed' or 'Content Accepted by the Government'. Note that this option will be disabled in production systems.

  • Select 'Force Delete', if you want the program to anyway delete the selected reporting tasks. This option allows you to ignore errors, if any, in the selected reporting tasks.

Output

The output list displays the following information during the 'Test Mode':

The reporting tasks for the selected reporting entity, reporting category, and reporting period. If the reporting tasks has report runs generated under it, you can see the Run IDs, along with the number of correspondence forms, attachments including legal documents, and manual attachments, and errors, if any.

Whenever Statutory Reporting Task Cleaneris run, and the reporting tasks are deleted, relevant information is logged in the SLG1 log files. In the log, object is identified as SRF and subobject is identified as SRF_TASK.
