Purpose

Entry to the Web Service CCMS Monitoring

Integration

The Web Service CCMS Monitor (Template) is used to display and manage alerts regarding the Web Service Infrastructure and the Web Service Runtime.

Prerequisites

Features

The CCMS Web Service Monitor template contains a health check of the technical settings for the Web Service runtime. The setup is divided into system wide and client specific settings.

Selection

The system wide settings do include the status of the Task Watcher, the Inbound Destination of the Web Service integration to bgRFC and the status of the standard jobs.

The client specific settings do include the status of the Service Destination, the current level of the Web Service Utilities Error Log, the current level of the Functional Trace, the current status of the Payload Trace and the status of the Performance Trace Level.

All problems which are reported from the Web Service Runtime are collected in the Message Processing health status which is based on the Web Service Error Log.

Standard Variants

The health check of the infrastructure is checked with a period of one hour. The Message Processing health check is executed with the period of the AUTOABAP (standard value = 300 seconds, profile parameter rdisp/autoabaptime).

Output

The Web Service Monitor template is displayed with the standard user interface of the CCMS Monitoring.

Activities

Alerts can be analyzed in detail using the Web Service Utilities Error Log.
