SXES_ACTUAL_SSP_OBJ_TYPES - Wizard for Updating Object Types of Search Service Providers

Purpose

You use this report to get all object types provided by the selected search service provider (SSP). You can also delete obsolete object types from the list. The object types are stored in database table SXES_OBJ_TYPE.

Integration

Prerequisites

You have defined one or more SSP using the IMG activity Define Search Service Providers and Object Types.

Features

Selection

Select a SSP.

Select one of the follwing options:

• Fill in missing object types

Select this option to get new object types from the SSP. You can for example fill an empty list for a newly connected custom SSP. If the table already contains object types that are still supported by the SSP, they will not be overwritten.

When you execute the report, all object types that are supported by the SSP and are missing in the customizing table are listed in a diolog box . You can select the ones you want to store in the database.

• Delete obsolete object types

Select this option to delete the object types that are no longer supported by the SSP.

When you execute the report, all obsolete object types are listed in a dialog box. You can select the ones you want delete from the database.
