Purpose

Logical Component Sync from Logical Component Editor to SMSY (only for support purposes)

Integration

Prerequisites

You have already run the migration from SMSY to the new store in solman_setup transaction. The state of a Logical Component in SMSY and in new editor is not same, and the state of new editor is desired in SMSY. The product instance should be assigned to the logical component in the new editor.

Features

This report can be used to sync logical component from new editor to SMSY. In certain situations there may be inconsistency in the state of a logical component in new editor and in SMSY. If you want to overwrite the SMSY logical component with the logical component in the new editor, this report can be used.

Activities

If all the logical components from the new editor have to be copied to SMSY, press on Execute.

If only one or more logical component has to be copied to SMSY. Uncheck the checkbox "Copy all Logical Components". Enter the name of the logical component to be copied and press on Execute.

Example

If a logical component has 3 systems in new editor but the same systems cannot be seen in SMSY and these three systems are to be synced to SMSY, execute this report with the name of the logical component.
