SYPP_HANDOVER_RUN - Hand Over External Planned Orders

Purpose
You use report Hand Over External Planned Orders (SYPP_HANDOVER_RUN) to replace external planned orders (order type LX) that have been created by an external planning system like SAP Integrated Business Planning for Supply Chain (SAP IBP) with stock orders (order type LA).
External planned orders cannot be changed or deleted in an SAP S/4HANA system.
In the standard process, these orders are handed over in advanced planning (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS)) by using heuristic Hand Over External Planned Orders (/SAPAPO/SYP_CONV_HEU).
If you cannot use the heuristic, because your location material is not in scope of PP/DS, you use this report.
For location materials that are not available in PP/DS, external planned orders can exist, for example, because of one of the following reasons:
- It has been deactivated for Advanced Planning recently.
- A Scope Limitation has been introduced.
- The production planning integration mode (PPIM) has been changed.
- It has been removed from an integration model.

Features
External planned orders (LX) are replaced by planned orders of type Stock Order (LA).
Selection
You can select planned orders for handover that are related to selected location materials or specify planned orders.
- If your selection is based on location material, the report first checks which external planned orders that match the selection criteria are due for handover (the DPS handover time is in the past). Only these external planned orders are handed over.
- If your selection is based on planned orders, the report processes all planned orders that match the selection criteria and does not check whether they are due or not.
If you want to check the outcome of this report before running it, you can use the Simulation Mode.

When the report is finished, you get a list of all planned orders that have been replaced.
