Title

Archiving program for TRM_REQ.

Purpose

This report archives requests that satisfy the following conditions:

1. Requests with status confirmed or canceled.

2. If the requests belong to a group reference (such as wave), all the requests within the group must satisfy all the archiving conditions.

3. Requests that have been in the sites for the specified resistance time.

Using this program, it is possible to archive requests in several sites simultaneously. However, the requests of each site will be archived seperately.

For test purposes, you can display a summary list of the number of requests that will be archived and deleted from the system before initiating the process.

Integration

Prerequisites

We recommend that you do not start this report directly, but rather with the transaction /nSARA, which initializes the general archiving administration program.

The archive report creates the archives and then starts the deletion program as a job for each archive. The size of the archive files can be set in advance.

You can use transaction /nSARA to set up the system for archiving as follows:

  • Check the path and archive names that are in the platform-independent table of archive names. The system then references a logical data path that you can maintain as a system parameter.
  • Create variants for the archiving report.
  • Define the size of the archive file in MB and/or limit the maximum number of requests per archive file.
  • If you want to save the archive optically, you have to maintain the data for optical archiving as well.

Output

If you select the option Test, the system displays a summary log of the total number of requests with the depending records from each table that could be archived. When you start the archiving report to use the transaction /nSARA, the system does not display a log online.

In any case, you have to maintain the spool data and can decide whether you want the summary of the archived and deleted documents to be printed or stored in a spool file.
