TRPA_POS_CLASSIFIER_TRANSFER - Stage Transfer

Purpose

You use this report to transfer stages of positions from one stage value to another stage value.

A transfer of stages is necessary in IFRS 9 (International Financial Reporting Standard 9) to cover different aspects of the key date valuation: For example, the determination of the probability of default that is relevant for the calculation of the loss allowance.

Integration

Prerequisites

Make sure that the following settings have been made:

• Switch FTRMO_SFWS_C14S04_IMPMNThas been enabled.

• The allowed stage values for the transfer are defined in the Customizing activity Specify Texts and Values for Position Classifier Activation.

Features

Selection

You can decide for which positions you actually want to do the stage transfer. The report then creates all the relevant business transactions for these positions.

You have the following options to select positions for the stage transfer.

1. New Stage Transfer: You can use this option to select positions, for which a stage transfer hasn't been scheduled yet.
2. Scheduled Stage Transfer: You can use this option to select positions, for which a stage transfer has already been scheduled.
3. File Upload: You can use this option to upload a Microsoft Excel file with positions for the stage transfer.

Note

Based on your selection criteria, the system generates a list of positions. You can download this list as a Microsoft Excel file, enter a target stage, and upload it again to run this report.

If you select this option, make sure that the Microsoft Excel file contains at least valid data related to the following fields:

• Position Value Date

• New Stage

• Object ID

If you select one of the options listed above (1-3), you can run a transfer from and to the values Classifier 01 (external stage) and Classifier 02(internalstage).

1. From Table: You can use this option to select positions, for which target stage entries have been defined in table TRPAT_TARGET_STA by using the TRPA_TARGET_STAGE transaction.

• If you select this option, you must enter a position value date.

• If you select this option, you can also run a transfer to the target stages Classifier 03 and Classifier 04 in addition to Classifier 01 (external stage) and Classifier 02(internalstage).

Standard Variants

Output

Based on your selection criteria, the system displays a list of positions. In this list, select the positions for which you want to execute a stage transfer.

After executing the stage transfer, you can see the status for your selected positions.

To show the corresponding error, warning, or information messages, click on the Status icon.

In the application toolbar, choose Show all messages to show all error, warning, and information messages and the number of stage transfers that were successful or ended with errors or warnings.

Note

If you want to trigger additional business transactions at a later point in time (for a stage that has already been transferred), you can implement the Business Add-In (BAdI) TPM_TRPA_CLASSIFIER_MANIPULATE.

Activities

To access this report, use theTRPA_TRANSFER transaction.
